INTERVENTIONS ON FILM
January 18, 2020
WITH SÉBASTIEN RONCERAY
The practice of intervention on film lies between that of cinema and the visual arts. It enables us to make films without using a camera, and without printing or developing in a laboratory. After an initial exploration of Maurice Lemaître's painted and scratched films, participants will create a collective film lasting a few minutes. Screening of the film at the end of the workshop!

imaginary photos
January 9, 2020
WITH ANAIS IBERT
During this workshop, participants will be invited to try their hand at collage. In the image of Maurice Lemaître's works, all approaches will be permitted: cutting, tearing, superimposing, confronting universes close or distant, associating details and general views. Accompanied by artist Anaïs Ibert, they will cut and paste newspaper and magazine images onto wood. From film stills to flat tints of color, wandering between figuration and abstraction, Anaïs Ibert takes participants on an artistic plunge using the visual landscape that surrounds us. Anaïs Ibert invites participants to appropriate the images and their assembly, in order to create their own collage.
